How to Reduce the Outrageous Shipping Costs of Big Item

Shipping is part of running most business where selling of physical products are involved. In order to lower these outside costs, you have a few options to try and lower them (if you can).

Negotiate with your supplier on the product and/or shipping. If you can show them the cost of shipping is becoming prohibitive for you to do business with them, they may lower the product price OR they may have better relationships with carriers which they can leverage to get you better shipping rates.
If coming from China, ask your supplier to ship the product to you. Many of these large companies in China (and other parts), ship huge amounts and thus get extremely competitive shipping rates. Instead of setting up your own shipping, let them do it.
Use a shipping broker, either one from China or your country. They ship large volumes and get extremely competitive shipping rates. Most business owners think they can negotiate better rates, but if you don’t have big volumes, especially when starting, you will never enjoy low rates.
Use a freight forwarder, who consolidate multiple shipments into one and ship in bulk which lowers the rate for every businesses product on that shipment. Again, they like the brokers, have terrific relationships with carriers and enjoy much lower rates.
Buy more and ship in volume, which will lower the shipping cost per item shipped. If you buy 30 chairs as opposed to 10, the cost to ship per items is naturally lower when you ship a higher number.
Gang up with other businesses who ship from the same source or supplier and ship together and split the costs.

Singles’ Day Celebration–the Largest eCommerce Event

What is the biggest shopping day of the year? If you guessed Black Friday, you’re wrong. Instead, it’s Singles’ Day, Nov. 11 (or 11/11 – a bunch of ones, like singles).

We have written about the social and cultural behavior of urban Chinese youth and pointed out that well-meaning foreigners, middle-aged Chinese, and a wary government dismiss much of this behavior as copying the Westerners because it doesn’t fit into standard Chinese stereotypes. Now emerging from a vast social transformation over the course of three tight decades, the new Chinese culture developing is in fact profoundly Chinese, but no longer representative of a China that was once rural, uneducated and inward-turning.

The primary reason is China’s burgeoning e-commerce market. China is the world’s largest e-commerce market, with a significant lead on other markets, including the U.S. ($450.81bn), UK ($110.07bn) and Japan ($95.33bn). Ecommerce sales in China are expected to pass $1.132 trillion in 2017, accounting for nearly half of worldwide retail ecommerce sales, according to eMarketer.

Additionally, the U.S. lags behind far China in terms of mobile payments. Even QR codes, which have largely flopped in the U.S., are used everywhere in China to buy goods. According to iResearch Consulting Group, which measures online audiences in China, the gross merchandise volume (GMV) of online payments in the country reached 57.7 trillion yuan in 2016, amounting to about 50 times the GMV of similar transactions in the United States, which is estimated by market research firm Forrester Research at US$112 billion. This huge gap is explained by China’s relatively underdeveloped credit card system which has led to the “leapfrog development” of online payment.

The CIIE–China International Import Exhibition) are now hot in Shanghai, with this event, the globe will see how big the Chinese domestic demand, and the coming Single Day’s Shopping Event will surely be handing in a satisfactory answer to the globe. As the major participant in the event, ChinaDivision has been partnering the global enterprises to fulfill their order fulfillment need.

What Is the Role of Flash Sales In Double 11 Shopping Carnival

Double 11 Shopping Carnival is coming. So, how to get the product you want?

A sale for limited period of time with limited notice about time it starts, ends and also on the products on sale. The customer has no other choice other thanbut the merchandise advertised during that time. Flash sales are the same as executed in stores where an immediate announcement of sale (on specific merchandise) is made and is available only for a short period of time.

Flash Sale is a method of promoting/selling a prouct by any online ecommerce store. It could be a discounted offer or a new product. But in any case, flash sale products are always offered for a limited time with a limited or defined quantity. Flash sales basically sell off surplus stock at lower prices than usual, but they only last for a certain amount of time, often only for one day. A lot of brands use them to sell end of season stock, or to generate interest in something new, or anything they want to increase exposure to. Occasionally some brands do this themselves, and advertise on their own websites, but most use specialist websites that only sell deeply discounted items. As a smart shopper, you will never lose such a great chance to get your ideal product–which may have laid in your shopping cart for year long!
But another thinking is, It’s normally thought that high demand is the reason they put limited stock for sale. But that’s where high demand created in the first place. Just think about it, a ‘flash sale’ ends in less than 2–5 minutes. Can you imagine the situation? People rush to flash sale to get the new product where merchants are playing hard to get.

You will see now, flash sale is, for the merchant to clear the stock, and make a new lanuched product hot-selling in a very limited time. It is the spirit of shopping carnival.
